Workforce Resiliency Policies (Pandemic Plans)

AASHTO Liaison

2020 has brought a heightened awareness regarding workforce resiliency and the ability to adapt to a variety of working conditions while still maintaining a safe transportation network.  For winter operations stockpiles must be full, equipment must be serviced and maintained in a mission ready state, and drivers must be behind the wheel in order to keep highways passable during weather events.

Several states have shared their plans and policies for operating in a social distanced environment. While these plans and policies were current at the time they were posted, the nature of this pandemic presents a fluid operating environment and you should contact the agency directly for the most current plans and policies.

If you would like to share your plan and include it in this resource please contact RNelson@aashto.org.
